-
Yes, we are a full digital agency within the Yorkshire region – we deliver all aspects of web design, development, digital marketing and content creation you’ll see on our website 100% in house. The only times we ever outsource is to partner with a professional video production company or a traditional PR agency.
-
What do you need a marketing agency to do? A digital marketing agency can support you with redeveloping your website, delivering organic and paid advertising campaigns across search engines and social media platforms, create multimedia content, and offer consultancy and advice on a huge range of digital topics like accessibility, inclusivity and sustainability.
-
That depends on what you want them to do and the resources you have in-house! Many organisations use a marketing agency because they provide services that require skills that your own marketing team doesn’t. Often it comes down to cost – you could recruit an extra in-house marketer, but will they have all the skills you need? After all, digital marketing is so broad – no one can be an expert in everything. But any agency will work best when they can work in partnership with your team, offering support, consultancy, and insights. We see agencies as an accompaniment, not a replacement.
-
Cost is a big consideration – what are their hour and day rates? Do they work on a retainer or campaign basis? What is their service mix – do they offer everything you need? Do they have a proven track record in your industry, and with the services you need? Ideally they’ll have both combined – but if they don’t, that doesn’t mean they can’t deliver for you. And, of course, how easy are they to deal with? Are they easy to get hold of? Flexible? Helpful? All of these factors need weighing up to decide whether they’re the right fit for you.
-
Digital marketing is as prone to trends as any other industry. Social media is no longer quite as new and exciting, while more and more organisations are seeing the benefits from programmatic campaigns. At Splitpixel, while we agree that it’s important to keep up on trends and reap the rewards that new platforms can bring, consistency is key. Stopping and starting campaigns to try the next new thing won’t see the results you’re after – any campaign needs to be tested and optimised, and to do that it needs to run long enough to collect good data! So while we’re always open to exploring new platforms, we always remind our clients to balance the latest marketing trends with the strategies we know work.
Client Spotlight: Chem Resist
Chem Resist are unique in the world of chemical storage and fluid transfer solutions, always putting sustainability at the heart of what they do – much like ourselves! We have worked with the Chem Resist team for many years, beginning with a new website design and development. Since then, we have worked on additional branding projects, and marketing campaigns that cover SEO, social media (both organic and paid), Google and Bing ads, and much more.
As a full-service digital agency, we’ve been delighted to build this long-standing relationship with the Chem Resist team. The shared understanding of their products and services, as well as their business goals, has allowed us to continue building their website into a complex technical solution allowing for bespoke product search features, as well as a marketing platform that delivers consistent leads and growth for the business.
