About City of London Sinfonia
Founded in 1971, CLS has been providing support to local communities through work in concerts and collaborations – they believe that music should be available to all, especially those who may not otherwise have access.


Project Goals
City of London Sinfonia needed a website that would allow them to easily sell tickets for their touring events whether externally or through their own Spektrix box office – encouraging streamlined bookings and smoother donation upsells for their visitors.
Alongside this, CLS wanted to develop their branding to truly convey the personality and ethos of their organisation, focusing on the great work they do within their community.
Brand Development
Alongside their new website, CLS wanted a brand refresh to reflect their up-to-date style. Our team of designers updated the colour palette and styles to refine and modernise their brand. It was definitely an evolution rather than a revolution, with the main change coming from a more modern colour palette.

Seamless Spektrix and WordPress Integrations
One of the biggest challenges CLS faced with their previous website was the lack of flexibility with their CMS. This made integrations with their box office difficult, therefore causing issues for their users when booking and donating. Our developers created an advanced API driven Spektrix events feed, purchase path and basket, as well as a quick donate feature using Stripe integration to map new donors directly to Spektrix. Bookings aren’t limited to Spektrix – external bookings are now easier to signpost side-by-side with their own box office, making user journeys seamless.


Futureproof Website Design and Build
We created a futureproof website for CLS that will stand the test of time – our flexible WordPress build means their AA accessible site will be entirely adaptable to change and grow with the needs of the organisation, powered by an easy to use CMS that puts all the power in the hands of the CLS team.
