Services Sector
Whether selling direct online, or encouraging people to pick up the phone for a quote, businesses in this sector need to be approachable, easy to understand, and easy to interact with.
Primarily, but not exclusively, B2C, their shared concerns are standing out in their individual industry, attracting the right users at the right time, and delivering services as efficiently as possible.

Digital needs in the services sector
No matter the industry, the core website needs of any service sector business are the same. It’s essential to balance any industry-specific considerations with the general needs of a service-driven user experience, including:
Web design features and functionality
- Online storefronts with secure payments
- Built-in quoting tools and contact forms
- Professional, friendly and approachable branding
- Content management systems for updating information
Website and marketing content
- Product photography, videos and specifications
- Testimonials, case studies and FAQs
- Targeted search and social media ads
- Advice content to solve user problems and show expertise
Our work in the services sector
We’ve done a lot of work for clients in the services sector over the years, both in web design and digital marketing. Find out more about these projects below…
Magpies
Magpies were looking for a full rebrand alongside their new website. From a fresh new logo to their high-quality photographs, we provided the content that took this amazing website to the next level. We also developed their website to AA accessibility standards, so users of all abilities would be able to enjoy it.

WYGS
West Yorkshire Gas Services had recently rebranded to be known as WYGS, to better reflect their diverse portfolio and nationwide coverage, and needed a new website to match. It needed to provide in-depth service information, and help generate leads.
We delivered a bold, minimalist design that’s easy to understand and navigate. Website copy was written to explain individual services, while a simple boiler quoting tool takes users through a step-by-step, jargon-free process.

Cartwright Mobility
Cartwright Mobility was formerly a sub-brand of Cartwright Conversions, but it was time for it to stand on its own. The Cartwright team needed a variation on their existing branding to set it apart, a new website, and support launching the brand.
We developed a new twist on the existing brand and delivered a very visual site, designed to AA accessibility standards, with easy-to-digest technical specifications. We also designed a number of brochures and print ads for an initial sales push.

Yorkshire & Humber Councils
The Yorkshire Leaders Board works in partnership to develop policies and share information amongst the 22 councils in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
The Board were looking for a website that provided a hub of key information for the public, raised their brand awareness, and showcased their work across the region - and that's exactly what we've delivered!

HallmarkFIX
HallmarkFIX are a market leading pallet truck repair company based in Bolton that we’ve been working with for nearly 10 years. We designed their first website in 2014, then delivered a new WordPress site for them in 2019, which we continue to keep updated. We also manage their ongoing digital marketing strategy to help bring them the traffic they deserve.
