When Arxell launched its new drying system in July of 2015, there was nothing else like it on the market. The revolutionary product concentrates air in a way that drastically reduces both drying times and energy use, using small individual focused drying units that can be combined to cover large areas quickly, quietly and efficiently. The specialist drying equipment was originally designed with flood drying in mind, but it quickly became clear that the Arxell system was incredibly practical in all manner of other environments.
After undergoing a rebrand (the product was originally called Drycell), Arxell needed a new website that demonstrated from the outset how the product could be used, and what the benefits were to a user. A new SEO strategy was also required to help the right target customers find this particularly unique product, and to help existing customers find the new brand online.
What we did
We worked very closely with Arxell throughout the project, taking their new brand guidelines and creating a new website that met all of their needs. The company's new branding was very simple and minimalist, with a relatively small colour palette, so we focused on creating a design that was big, bold and clear.
We carried out in-depth keyword research to ensure Arxell had good SEO foundations for their new site, and this helped inform the site map. The website was built in Wordpress, incorporating a content management system (CMS) back end for Arxell to update their blog and change product copy as needed, and the site's forms were integrated with the client's Mailchimp account – all of which gives the Arxell team excellent marketing tools for the future.
The site is responsive, and looks great on both mobile devices and desktop screens of all sizes, without losing any functionality.
As the Arxell drying system was relatively new, we worked closely with the client to work out how best to use their content to tell the story of the company and their product. It was important to clearly show how the product actually worked, so we created a number of infographics and animations that were used throughout the site to better illustrate the technical details to visitors, as well as creating clear and direct copy without any jargon. We also built a room size calculator form, so prospective customers could easily get a cost estimate online.
The finished site is clear, bold and easy to use for both Arxell and their customers, with integrated marketing tools that will help them to share their revolutionary new product with the world.
By working so closely with Arxell, the process was incredibly streamlined and the entire project was completed quicker than expected.
We've built up a great working relationship with the folks at Arxell, and will continue to work with them in the future. We're looking forward to celebrating their ongoing success – helped out by their new site, of course!
